The short answer
The Monthly Abstract is one email a month covering what changed in mineral law and mineral markets, plus an instant alert when the rules move in a state you follow. That is the entire promise: a monthly briefing and instant alerts, no drip sequence, no partner mailings, and no list sharing.
Checked against the sources named below on .
The list is not open yet. This site is being built in public and the signup opens when the record does, so that the first briefing has something in it worth reading.
What arrives
- The monthly briefing. What changed in the record: statutes amended, rules renumbered, rates adjusted, and what was added to the atlas that month.
- Instant alerts. When a rule changes in a state you follow, that alert goes out when the change is verified rather than waiting for the next month.
What does not arrive
No sequence, no partner emails, no offers to buy your minerals, and no list sharing or sale under any circumstances. If a mineral buyer ever contacts you because of this site, it will be because you asked for that specific introduction on these terms.
Where the change log comes from
Every fact in this record carries a verification date and a recheck interval, and the recheck is scheduled work rather than an accident. When a recheck finds something different from last time, that difference is the briefing. It is a newsletter written by the maintenance of the record itself, which is why it can promise to be short.
